Typical figures

D200 vehicles are rated at 200 PS and 502 Nm. The D350 variant is rated at 350 PS and 700 Nm - a gain of 150 PS and roughly 200 Nm, the largest step we offer.

Is it really possible?

Other workshops often say it is not. It is - we carry out this upgrade every week, and 2021 and newer D200 vehicles are generally eligible.

What happens to the engine

We are not reflashing the engine software. The D200, D250, D300 and D350 share the same Ingenium six-cylinder and the same calibration; what differs is which part of it the control unit is permitted to use. We unlock the potential your ECU is already running, which is why the mechanical load stays inside what the engine was designed for.

  • Adaptive Driving Beam Matrix LED beam that blanks out only the traffic it would dazzle.

  • Engine Sound Enhancement Off Switches off the synthetic engine sound played through the speakers.
  • Seatbelt Chime Off Deactivates the seatbelt reminder chime.

Convenience

  • Global Open & Close Open or close all windows and the roof from the key fob.
  • Walk-Away Locking Locks itself when you walk away and unlocks as you come back.
  • Remote Release Tailgate Open the tailgate from the key fob.

Is the D200 really the same engine as the D350?

The D200, D250, D300 and D350 all use the same Ingenium six-cylinder diesel. What separates them is which part of the calibration the control unit is permitted to use, which is why no hardware has to change.

Does the gearbox cope with the extra torque?

The transmission is the same unit specified for the D350 from the factory, so it is operating inside what it was built for. As always, your VIN confirms the exact drivetrain before we quote.

Is 2021 really the earliest model year?

That is our general guideline for the D200. Earlier builds sometimes carry a different control unit generation, so we check rather than assume.
